Case Study

Boardwise, Edinburgh

Boardwise are a group of independent retail stores specialising in Snowboarding, Surfing and Skateboarding equipment. With an established inter-branch stock system the infrastructure was already there to enable near real-time stock upkeep for their website.

Working with our Edinburgh based software development partners, ManSol.com, a software solution was developed for shop staff to add products and images to their site. Further software was developed to auto-update the web-stock every fifteen minutes. If a size medium jacket is sold in their London store and it's the last one, that size is then automatically deleted from both the central stock system and the web-stock instantaneously. This means that web customers cannot buy products that are not available thus saving time down the line.
